Lunch & Learn with ChoZen Farm ft Paola Espitia

  • Chozen 11115 Roseland Road Sebastian, FL, 32958 United States (map)

What makes the Treasure Coast such a picture-perfect paradise? Science says it could be the water. Join us on Friday, April 5th from 12-1:30pm for our next Lunch & Learn with local Marine Ecologist, National Geographic Naturalist & Waterwoman Paola Espitia as we delve into the fascinating world of marine ecology.

This session will be all about the dynamics of the Indian River Lagoon watershed, making the connection between healthy waterways and healthy communities, and will present current and proposed water-based initiatives taking place at Chozen Farm to restore the health of the St. Sebastian River.

At ChoZen Farm we believe that meaningful change starts at the grassroots level. Come explore with us local restoration strategies alongside expert Paola & join our local community.

Paola Espitia, M.Sc. is energizing a sea of Wavemakers. For two decades, she worked to understand and conserve coral reef ecosystems as a marine ecologist. Her research led her to dive Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, Belize’s Barrier Reef, and Cuba’s Jardines de la Reina National Park. But when she realized she could make a bigger impact by using her voice, she became a Speaker-at-Sea cruising over 30,000 nautical miles aboard world-class cruise lines educating thousands of people about ocean conservation. Today, Paola is Chozen's ocean expert and paddle guide.
