About the Role
ChoZen Retreat is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Event & Hospitality Production Manager to lead on-site event coordination, retreat operations, and hospitality production. This role ensures all events, retreats, and guest experiences run smoothly from setup to breakdown. Ideal for someone experienced in events, hospitality, or production management who thrives in a fast-paced, nature-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate event setup, breakdown, layouts, décor, sound, lighting, and equipment.
Manage run-of-show, timelines, guest flow, and retreat logistics.
Oversee hospitality operations, accommodations readiness, and property presentation.
Lead event staff, production assistants, and volunteers.
Communicate with facilitators, chefs, vendors, and team leads.
Manage inventory, supplies, rentals, and vendor logistics.
Support administrative tasks: schedules, planning docs, reports, and calendars.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in event coordination, hospitality management, or event production.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Leadership experience with small teams or event crews.
Comfortable with physical event setup and moving equipment (up to 30–40 lbs).
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality.
Passion for wellness, retreats, hospitality, or nature-focused environments is a plus.
